HISTORY OF STELLA MARIS CONVENT SCHOOL

Congregation of the Daughters of Mary was established in the year 1938 in Kanyakumari District at Tamilnadu. The good services of the Congregation spread all over the world, making a beginning in Maharashtra in 1981. The society tries to live up to the ideas of the founders Msgr. Joseph Kuzhinjalil and Mother Mary Kallarackal, in spreading the flame of Charity. The essential effort is in proclaiming to the world that unity and happiness lies in service.

Vision

Stella Maris School Started in 2013 at Hanga with the felt need of the locality and thus create a social and educational awareness among people, which is one of our objectives. We believe in providing nothing short of the very best in education and providing well-balanced and highly competent, challenging universal citizens, with independent thoughts and individual charisma. It insists on individual care and concern for each student.

Stella Maris School’s education is value-oriented. It encourages love and acceptance of self and realistic knowledge of the world in which we live. Every child is a precious gem for us. Stella Maris Pre-Primary School

The Pre-Primary Section sets the tone for learning at Stella Maris School. The onset of this formal education is overseen by trained and passionate teachers, managed by efficient staff in tandem with the parents who form an important part of this process too.

Stella Maris Primary School

The Primary Section extensively works at building and nurturing the preliminary mindsets of students, in preparation for Secondary School. We believe in the holistic development of the life skills of young students, which reflects in our pedagogy, activities and planning adequately.

Stella Maris Secondary School

The Secondary School follows the CBSE curriculum and is delivered by trained and experienced professionals. The secondary education instils in children the requisite learning and skills - both academic and extra-curricular in preparation for their post-school experience and challenges, thus ensuring that they are well-rounded individuals when they finish their boards.
